Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellation and refunds work for paid plans, and the statutory rights you keep under UK consumer law.

01During the free beta
SeedPilot is currently free to use. While no fees are charged, there is nothing to refund. This policy applies from the moment we introduce paid plans and will be presented to you before you subscribe.
02Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@getseedpilot.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.
We do not generally provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once it has begun, except where required by law or stated below.
03Your statutory cancellation rights (consumers)
If you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day “cooling-off” right to cancel a new subscription for a refund.
If you ask us to start the service during the 14 days
By starting to use a paid plan immediately, you consent to the service beginning during the cooling-off period and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the service is fully performed. If you cancel after the service has begun but before it is fully performed, we may retain an amount proportionate to the service provided up to the point you cancelled.
How to exercise it
Email support@getseedpilot.com within 14 days of subscribing. We will refund any amount due using the original payment method within 14 days of accepting your cancellation.
04If the service is faulty or not as described
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, paid digital services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and match their description. If we materially fail to deliver what you paid for, you may be entitled to a repeat performance, a price reduction, or a refund. Get in touch and we will put it right.
05Discretionary refunds
- Duplicate or accidental charges are refunded in full.
- Billing errors on our side are corrected and refunded.
- Outside the cases above, refunds are at our reasonable discretion; we aim to be fair.
06Business customers
If you subscribe as a business rather than a consumer, the statutory cooling-off right above does not apply; cancellation and refunds are governed by the plan terms presented at checkout and our Terms of Service.
